Kenya Safari packages from Australia
Kenya Safari packages on this page start in Nairobi after your long-haul flight. We match the first camp night to a realistic arrival from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. Each package lists duration, parks, and what sits inside the AUD price: park fees, lodges or camps, guiding, and a private 4x4.
Road, fly-in, and bush-and-beach
Road safaris: Suited to seven to ten days. You travel between Nairobi, Amboseli, and the Masai Mara in a Land Cruiser. We do not use shared tour vans on these routes.
Fly-in safaris: Light aircraft from Wilson Airport to conservancy airstrips. Use this when you have fewer days after the international flight and want more hours on game drives.
Bush and beach: A four-day safari in Tsavo or the Mara, then nights at Diani or Watamu. Common with families and couples who want a rest day after the parks.
Mount Kenya add-ons
Fit hikers can add Point Lenana (4,985m). We usually ascend Sirimon and descend Chogoria. Hiking packages include porters, mountain guides, and park camping fees. Tell us if you have done altitude walks before so we can set the day count.
What the AUD figure includes
Park entrance fees, conservation levies, full-board lodge or camp nights, and professional guiding sit in the package price. International flights, tips, and alcoholic drinks usually sit outside it. We show that split so you can budget before you buy tickets.
Flights and eTA
Most Australian itineraries route via the Middle East or Singapore to Nairobi. We schedule the airport meet around your confirmed arrival. Every visitor, including Australian passport holders, needs a Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation before travel. We send itinerary pages for that application.
When Australian guests usually travel
Great Migration: July to October for Masai Mara river crossings. Book those months early.
Hiking: January–February and August–September are the most reliable Mount Kenya windows.
Winter escape: June–August lines up with Kenya’s dry season and school-holiday travel from Australia.
